West Africa, sometimes called the "Forgotten Africa", with its nearly 300 unreached people groups, is perhaps the greatest challenge facing IBRA today. The vision and commitment among the local people to reach their fellow citizens with the Gospel is very strong, and with their help IBRA has within a short time been able to start daily short-wave broadcasts to West Africa. There is a revolutionary revival going on in the prisons of Rwanda. Jesus has saved thousands of war criminals, and they are confessing their sins and being baptized. God is using a pastor who was imprisoned on false charges as a tool to share the message of forgiveness of sins to his fellow prisoners. |
